*************

A cat is a cat and I like them all- so Spook and Ghost the two rescued moggies (non-pedigrees) reside here, along with a few "pets only" pedigree cats and a rescued Maine Coon (Carmen)- all just as special as the show cats!

Over the years many, many rescued cats have been in my life.

This is some of my current most special pet cats.

Click HERE for the MOST special ones. And HERE for the page for Ringo and Carmen the Maine Coons.

SPOOK

The cat I thought was a ghost! Looks exactly like a cat I used to have, Boogie.

Has the same temperament and behaviour too.

Just appeared one day and then seemed to vanish into thin air.

Eventually it was discovered that he lived down the road but was

unwanted, unfed, kicked and beaten, so he moved in with me.

GHOST

Another local rescue, full of more fleas than I had ever seen.

Very hungry and in bad need of a good home.

Arrived Summer 2001.

Very pretty Ghost -all white but with one patch of Tabby.

Once adult, Ghost lost his coloured patch and is now all white.

Ghost had had some good wins as a non-pedigree show cat.

Ghost at the 2002 Supreme Cat Show.

The theme for the decorated pens was "Myths and legends",

so naturally we decked his pen out with lots of GHOSTS!

Rupert and Spook

One of our very most special pet cats is DUSKY:

BLONDBELLA DUSK 50 c (Pictured at 5 months)

Lilac Persian male

"DUSKY"

In May 2003, he had to have one of his eyes removed due to a serious injury. Dusky is now one eyed but very happy.

He sired 2 litters and was then neutered.

Dusky with one eye.

My daughter Rebecca's funny card about Dusky (whom she calls Cyclops) -her own work and personal ratings!

Dusky is THE friendliest cat I've EVER come across. He is so laid back and so friendly. He looks very odd as his tail curls over his back,

his tongue tends to stick out, he's quite small, and he only has the one eye! (However his grandkittens including TWILIGHT on the studs page are very nice looking!) He's usually the very first to greet any visitors.

With his one eye closed! March 2008.

ROSWELL:

This Persian kitten was born here June 2007. He was normal at first. Here aged 13 days.

Then he stopped growing and lost most of his fur. His heart rate was also unusually fast.

I asked our vet if he felt we should have him put to sleep. He said no, just don't expect him to live very long.

Half the size of his brother

But Roswell surprised us all.

The fur started growing out, and Roswell started to gain weight.

At first he loked rather odd, with a very short, fine coat.

NOW LOOK AT HIM !!

9 months old Roswell! He is now BIGGER than most of the other cats and has a very thick coat.

He's entirely normal, but has of course been neutered.

Ghost

(No, he is NOT for sale, he is a rescued family pet and he

stays here for the rest of his life!

PLEASE stop e-mailing me with requests to buy him.

Visit your local rescue centre instead!

I state on every page of my site that NO cats on it are for sale unless advertised as such

on the KITTEN page only.)
